Solar PV - Case Studies - Rexel, Dagenham

Energy Cycle were contacted by a major electrical distributor based in Essex, to carry out a feasibility study to install PV Modules
to their national distribution centre. After carrying out a full survey, which included a full structural survey,
it was established that a 216 kWp system could be installed.
Energy Cycle then carried out the full installation, liaised with UK Power Networks, to allow the system to be connected to the National Grid,
arrange for the EPC, created drawings for the planning application and liaised with the client for the Feed in Tariff application.
This system produces approximately 190,000 kWh per annum so the Fit Tariff receipts are around £21,000 and have
reduced their electricity consumption by £19,000, giving a total of £40,000 benefit per annum.

Having surveyed the site, we designed a 27 kWp system, which was installed.
This system will produce approximately 21,850 kWh per annum.
This will result in around £2,600 per year in Feed in Tariff receipts.
The main benefit of this system, is the fact that the client is using all of the electricity
being generated, therefore dramatically reducing their yearly electricity bill.
